1. Information We Collect

When you use IMAP2Notion, we collect the following information:

  • Notion OAuth tokens — Used to authenticate with the Notion API and write to your databases.
  • IMAP credentials — Your email server address, username, and password or app password, used to connect to your email account.
  • Email metadata — Subject lines, sender/recipient addresses, dates, and message IDs of processed emails.
  • Email content — The body of emails that are imported into your Notion database.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the purpose of importing emails from your IMAP email account into your Notion database. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • All data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) infrastructure.
  • IMAP credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption.
  • Notion OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only for authorized API calls.
  • All communication between the service and third-party APIs uses HTTPS/TLS.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only transmitted to:

  • Notion — To create pages in your database (via their official API).
  • Your IMAP email server — To fetch your emails.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data stored in the service.
  • Delete your account and all associated data at any time.
  • Revoke Notion access by disconnecting the integration from your Notion workspace.
  • Remove IMAP credentials from the service at any time.

6. Data Retention

Processing logs and email metadata are retained for operational purposes. When you delete your account, all associated data (credentials, tokens, logs, and settings) is permanently removed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
